Born and raised in South Florida by a Cuban American family, Nick has passion for life in his blood. After graduating with a BS in Sociology at Emory University in Atlanta, he dove into the hospitality industry growing into General Manager and Director of Food & Beverage roles, which has given him a solid background for business and customer service experience. His zest for life coupled with his understanding of what drives human interactions has earned Nick senior leadership positions at world-class dining and travel destinations, dealing directly with many high-net worth and celebrity clientele.
With his husband by his side, Nick has lived and worked in some of the most competitive markets in the US. He spent 4 years in San Francisco, 4 years in Los Angeles, 5 years in New York City and Brooklyn. Having experienced the 4 corners of the US, he has now returned to Los Angeles to make it his permanent home.
After purchasing 2 homes and turning them into income properties, Nick decided to explore a career in real estate. First studying for his license in NYC but ultimately moving back to LA to join the Carrabba Group at Compass. Working with Monique and Joe has been an incredible learning opportunity and he hopes to be a licensed REALTOR by the end of 2020.
Nick is a specialist in building relationships both with vendors and clients. His customer service background in hospitality gives him a unique edge when creating that concierge experience during the home buying/selling process. Ultimately, commercial leases with restaurants and hotels is something that Nick is interested in pursuing since he has been on both sides of the deal.
In his free time, Nick is an avid runner and enjoys exploring each city that he has lived with long meandering urban trails. Also, he enjoys dining out and supporting the local restaurant community, definitely someone to ask where to dine and what’s new in the food scene!
